Mist Opportunity

Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 15, 2026

Mist Opportunity LLC ("Mist Opportunity," "we," "our," or "us") builds apps and websites. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. It applies to mistopportunity.net and to any app we publish under our developer name, unless a specific app has its own policy that overrides this one.

The short version. We designed our apps to keep your data on your device. We don't sell your personal information. We don't run analytics or advertising SDKs that identify you personally. When any of that changes, we'll update this page and disclose it clearly in the affected app.

1. Who we are

Mist Opportunity LLC is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States. You can reach us via our support page.

2. Information we collect

2.1 On this website

mistopportunity.net is a static website. We do not set cookies, we do not run analytics, and we do not embed third-party trackers. Your browser may record that it requested a page from our host; that is standard web behavior and is not retained or analyzed by us.

2.2 In our apps

Our apps are designed to keep your content on your device using the operating system's local storage. We do not have servers that receive your content, your name, your email, or any account information. There are no accounts.

If you use a share feature, the operating system's native share sheet is used. Whatever you choose to share, and with whom, is between you and the receiving app.

2.3 Advertising (planned, not currently active)

A future version of our apps may include advertising provided by Google AdMob to help keep them free. When that happens:

No advertising SDK is active in our apps at the time of this policy's effective date.

2.4 Support contact form

If you contact us for support via our contact form, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use that information only to respond to you. We do not add support contacts to marketing lists — we don't have one.

3. How we use information

We use the limited information described above to:

We do not use your information for targeted advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making that produces legal effects.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may share information only in these narrow circumstances:

5. Data retention

Content you create in our apps stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Support emails are retained only as long as necessary to resolve your request and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information under our control. Our website is served over HTTPS. Because our apps store your content locally, its security also depends on the security of your device — we recommend using a device passcode and keeping your OS up to date.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's privacy

Our apps are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

8.1 Everyone

You can delete the data our apps store locally by using the in-app controls or by uninstalling the app. You can ask us any question about this policy via our support page, and we will respond in a reasonable timeframe.

8.2 California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. To exercise any right, use our support page.

8.3 EEA/UK residents (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Our lawful bases for processing, where applicable, are our legitimate interest in operating and improving our apps, consent (which you can withdraw at any time), and compliance with legal obligations. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. International data transfers

We are based in the United States. If you use our apps or website from outside the United States, information about you may be processed in the United States.

10. Third-party platforms

Our apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Those platforms collect information about downloads, crashes, and payments under their own privacy policies. We receive only aggregated, non-identifying reports from them.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, post a notice on this page. Continued use of our apps or website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
